McCormick Compact Tractors

Does anybody have any experiences, good or bad, with the new McCormick 23 to 41 HP compact Tractors? I have been looking at Kubota and John Deere, but a new McCormick dealer just opened, and I would like to know if anybody has used them. Thanks

I work for a McCormick dealership...Stay away fromt that crap. They are nothing but junk, Go and buy a Deere, spend the extra money if need be and be glad you did. Please dont buy a McCormick anything....junk junk junk

Sounds like mike321 is one of those "my brother's uncle's sister's cousin's nephew's girlfriend had one 40 years ago and they were junk" trolls.

The McCormick small tractors have recently changed in North
America. They used to be the heavy little european rigs used in
vinyards.

Both McCormick and Landini (Argo Group?) sell rebadged
LS/TYM/Montana tractors as their small models. I've not heard
anything bad about these tractors but they are not what they
used to sell.

Around here I've seen the really respected Landini Alpine and
Powerfarm models (90 ish hp) displaced by these sort of
unknown stuff that isn't really an in house argo product.

Just my opinion. If a man is going to buy a new tractor buy something worth having. I have a farmtrac and wish I would of bought a name brand tractor.ie. Kubota , Deere etc. i dont think the Mcormicks, Montanas, Kiotis or any of these other tractors are here for the long haul.

get a newholland boomer. they have a great warranty and i have 4300 hours on one in a little over 2 years. run like a top i purchased the extended warranty and it covers pretty much everything

Lets get something strait, a deere is not the deere that it used to be, they all are made with foreighn parts (all of them) for example take the 5000 series the rock shaftis from turkey, the trans is from india(where farmtrak was made)the carro front axle is from Italy(where the larger mc cormick is made)the engine is made in mexico, and then they are all shipped to georgia where they are assembled. now with that said the tym tractor is china the montana tractor is india, korean, china, the company that makes the mcormick compacts is ls, or formerly lg they are also making case ih new holland tractors over seas, where some of the john deere equipment is made,oh also the clutch on my 5000 series is a luk clutch which is german, and all(ALL)of the varible transmissions out there IVT,CVT where made from fendt which is agco,so the next time u think u are buying quality american product"s dream on, im as red blooded american as anyone, and i wish and dream of an american product again, but currentley we are stuck with what nafta gave us.

As I hear, the New Holland is as good as anything currently out there.

Exactly.
Really takes some pride away. Like Budwiser not being American anymore.
