Memory? I already forgot

Ever be thinking (I know that's dangerous to do!!) of something and want to know more about it, then go to your computer, pull up a search engine and can't remember what you wanted to search for?

It frustrates me so much. It's happening to me more and more. Even frightens me. Maybe I've been working too many Soduku puzzles.

Is there a memory doctor in the house?

Yup. I think of something like when I'm typing this response and figure that I'll look it up right after I post this and bamm..it's gone.I found that if I want to look something up, I have to do it right then and there or write it down. I thought I was getting old and alone with this problem.

I have trouble with the hereafter also. you know, you get into a room and cannot remember what you here after?

Yep all these responses sound familiar. I finally started carring a pocket notebook, and leave them on the end tables and countertops. I get easily distracted. Gregg

it's no fun.......... a lot of it comes from being knocked in the head throughout life....... that comment about hiding your own easter eggs is more truth than joke.... I'll be doing something on the net, think about something I want to look up, open another window for google, and forgot what I wanted to do..... some days are better/worse than others.....

Certain seasons of the year, and when I am working on a big multiple day project, I can be sharp, really sharp. Other times it seems my mind just wants a bit of a vacation and doesn't stay locked on for very long.

I have a certain series of tasks that I do regularly. It's second nature. The other day I totally confused myself and it didn't get done. Looking back I can pinpoint every mistake I made.
