MF 135 Headlights

Does anyone know why some of the MF135 have the headlights in the grill and others have them sticking out on the side?

The Grille mounted are UK built and the side/fender mounted are US built.

In addition to Christos's posting, I believe that some tractors were produced at Banner Lane in Coventry England with side headlamps and some without. These were destined for export to the US and other countries.

I have flat top fenders on mine and the headlights are mounted in the fenders.

Hi Warren,
You have the US 'flat-tops'. The photo of my old 135 shows the European 'flat-tops'.

It gets a little confusing though because not all UK models had them in the grill. The UK models sent to Canada(N.America)had them mounted on the round fenders the same as US models.

I do like the flat top fenders over the other styles.
