MF 150 steering

With the front wheels pointed straight ahead, where should the
steering arm be pointed?. This would be the the arm that the drag link
screws into. The arm is not keyed. Thanks in advance.

To clarify my my question. Currently the position of the steering arm (where the drag link bolt threads in) is pretty much down the center of the tractor with steering wheels turned MAX RIGHT.

Gut reaction is the arm/drag link should e in the center position with wheels pointed straight ahead.

Seems that i'm talking to myself on this forum..

Well ok, i'll continue the conversation.

This morning I went to an equipment dealer to see if he had a 150 I could look at. He had 3. Turns out that 2 of the three have the same problem as mine - The steering cuts the wheels move further in one direction than the other.

My steering arm seems to be aligned properly. So the drag link will need to adjusted.

My brothers 150 turns the same amount both ways, but I don't know when the next time I'll be over there to look at it. When he rebuilt the power steering cylinder, control valve, and put all new bushings it. On his the ball joint that's welded to the drag link was worn out, and he couldn't find a new drag link. So I cut that ball joint off, and tapped the drag link so that it accepts the same ball joint that screws into the other end. Now the drag link can be a little shorter, or a little longer than the original 150 drag link. I do remember that it took a few tries to get it to steer the same left to right.
