MF 220 - Spool Valve question

Have an MF 220 w/MF216 loader. Am replacing the spool valve. I"ve been told that most tractors are open center systems. But, since it"s an internal pump I thought I"d ask before I fired it up.....is this one an open center system also?

Hi, Since no one responded I will. Probably no
one knows unless knowledgeable with systems. I
have product books, literature, manuals and yet
not one of them states which system(open or closed center hydraulics) is used on the 220.
Sorry for the no-help. Regular farm tractors are
known by these helps as to which type they are.

thanks for your reply. I, too had done an archive search and went through all of my manuals for both the loader and the tractor. Came up with nothing. I also emailed Big Dean directly. His reply stated that it was an open center system. He"s a wealth of knowledge and a stellar human being as well.
