I have a 245 and a 230 MF TRACTORS. I am looking to purchase a very low hour 235. I have heard that the 235 had some problems especially with the power steering. I would appreciate any comments about the 235. Also, it has a continetal gas engine and muti-power.
 
Power steering was about the only issue but it was bad enough they dropped the 235 after only 2 years and replaced it with the 245/230. If the 235 had manual steering it would be an excellent tractor. Check out the multi-power thoroughly as well. I have MP in my 135 and never had a problem with it. Dave
 
Checdk the axle pivot.(Center) the 235 had issues with that also, far worse than any other 100/200 series Massey. Jack weight off axle and check for "slop". Power steering cylinders are just about hopeless and no longer available from MF/AGCO.
