MF 2675

Looking at MF 2675,not real great shape,has 24 speed but notch for range lever is welded up so that you only have low and rev.Any idea what a trans. repair would cost parts only?what price range should one pay as is?I know the smart thing might be to run away not walk.

Yes, run away, parts are hard to come by and expensive. Do a search here for "24 speed" or such and read as much as you can. You "may" be able to keep it going cheaply but not likely.

sounds like it might have been made in to a 8 speed

Hi, I have a 2675 and have rebuilt the clutch pack. It does sound like its been changed to an eight speed maybe. The way the pack works is if theres no presure it drives in mid range since this clutch has to be released with presure and the high and low have to be engaged with presure,so there would be no reason not to have the mid range. I have a little over $100 and about six hours in my repair since it only needed o-rings. You have to split the tractor though.
