Getting lots of fuel in the crankcase , i am about 90% sure its the lift pump anybody have any ideas what else i might check, the engine is a 3 banger perkins , n.a.p.a. say thay need engine # witch i havenot found yet. thanks, matt

Matt,
Your parts suppliers wil need to know whether your lift pump is a 2 stud or 4 stud mounting. Also, if the lift pump has a sediment bowl fitted or not. The other place that fuel can enter the engine, is from a failed seal in the front of the injection pump. I have also seen the cold start aid fitted to the intake manifold, fail, at times, and "flood" the engine with fuel. But this one is easier to detect, especially on initial start-up, as the engine will "billow" black smoke, and "flood", so to speak. It's more likely to be the lift pump. Get it checked first, as it's the simplest thing to do.
regards, Evan.

Matt, I believe your 90 % is about right. It is
almost always the lift pump. You can unbolt it
and leave it away from engine and see if it leaks
