MF 35 loader issues

Have purchased a MF35 complete with front end loader. Purchased seperatly a 6' 3PH blade. Can't have the blade on the 3PH hitch when using the loader as blade falls to ground. Why won't the blade stay in the up position so I can use the loader. The loader stays up so I can use the blade.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The simple answer is a lack of a tap. Your loader is probably controlled by a valve block and levers or by a tap in the pipeline. In order to operate the loader and have the blade on the back you will need an isolating valve. This fits in place of the small cover held down by two bolts at the front of the hydraulic cover. This valve allows you to direct oil to the loader or to the blade. When using the loader and with the linkage 'up' oil is locked in the 3 point system. The blade will stay up only for as long as the system is able to hold oil. All systems leak but normally it gives you an acceptable amount of time between having to re-lift the blade.
There are plenty of different makes and types of valves available. Speak to someone in the trade for advice. Think whether you might wish to add a tipping trailer pipe at any time and then require a valve with two external ports.

There is a valve mounted on the block beside the seat. It is a single lever valve which throws to the front and the back. On the valve is another single hose leading to the back of the tractor to hook up a single line hydraulic implement (I think). When the lever is forward the front end loader works great, the 3PH will raise but cannot handle any weight or it falls to the ground. When the lever is back (towards the rear) the front end loader does not work but does stay up and the 3 PH will work fine. I just cannot use the loader and have the 3PH stay in the up position. I'm sorry I'm not to mechanically inclined, but is there a way to correct this and have an implement on the 3PH while I use the loader??

Hi Jody,
How long does it take for the implement to fall to the ground froim the fully raised position when you have the valve lever forward for the loader. If the implement is of light to medium weight a hydraulic system in good condition should give you at least half an hour.
Some tractors have a mechanical lock to hold the linkage up but not MF.
Really the only way to hold the implement up permanently is to attach chains from the lowest point on the implement to either the front top link pin or hinged pin below. They should take the form of an 'X' so that the pull is equal on both sides.
