MF 65 clutch problem

Having trouble with my MF 65 clutch. When I push the clutch down, the forward movement stops but I cannot get the gearshift lever to disengage so that I can shift to neutral or another gear without shutting the engine off. Is this an adjustment problem or do I have to split the tractor and redo the clutch? The PTO does disengage when pushing the pedal all the way down.

Does it have the Multi Power transmission? If so does it shift if the Multi Power is in Low?

Does have multi power but I have not tried it in low. Will try tomorrow.

Yes it does shift when multipower is in low range.

Yes it does shift when multipower is in low range.

The Multi Power has a one-way clutch when in Hi. If there is pressure on the driveline, it can bind shifting the gears.

Dieseltech may be along with other advice, but I suggest shifting the Multi Power into low when you have trouble shifting the gears.
