MF Model TO 35

I am thinking about buying a MF to 35 tractor. The owner says it is a 1952 model. From what little I have read about the TO 35, it wasn't put into production until 1960. Can anyone tell me about the Model TO 35? It is a 4 cyl gas. Does it have a good service history, and can parts be obtained without much trouble for the tractor and the engine?

My TO-35 is a 1955, the first year of production. It has a 4 cylinder Continental engine. Parts are readily available. I have had mine since new. Very reliable.

I too have a MF TO 35.... a 1956 model with a 4cyl Continental gas engine. Mine has power steering and a dual-stage clutch. These are tough tractors and with basic maintenance hold up extremely well. Parts are readily available (check this forum's sponsor) and a surprising number of parts (filters, wheel bearings,points/plugs/condensors, solenoids, etc.) are available at your local NAPA store.

The owner told me it is a 1952 model TO 35. He must not know the exact year, since the 35 didn't come out until 1955. Is there any way I can look on the tractor and tell exactly what it is, or the year of Mfg?
