Just got the operators manual for a MF 1100 (1966 diesel)that I just bought. The manual says to push the throttle forward to increase engine speed however on mine you move the lever towards the rear. Have noticed that with lever at the end of its travel only about 1800 rpm, have to use foot throttle to get up to 2000 rpm. Just wondering which was correct as I have found on occasion misinformation in manuals.
Now I think I will go stand in the road and wait on the mail lady, see if she brings my service manual!!! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mike.
