MF165 Injectors

Hi, Is it possible to take the injectors out (for service) of a 165 without taking the tank off? It looks like ther may just be room but I dont know how far they go in!

Hi,
It depends on the age of your 165. If it is an early one with the tray under the tank from front to back then the answer will be 'no'. If it is the later type with the tank resting on a cross-bar at the front and rear then the answer should be 'yes'. It may be necessary to slacken the tank mountings on the left side to raise the tank a little under the hood. Make sure that you can see that the injector port seatings are clean before refitting.

yes, if not you only need to loosen it and lift one side, but if is were me i would take it of, so you can clean the holes real good and have room to work and being there adjust the valves and replace the valve cover gaskets
This is what I did on mine
