MF30(B) w/Perkins 203

I have a MF Backhoe with a Perkins 203. There is a small oil line that runs from front of the engine to the back of the engine on the right side. It started leaking at the back. I tightened it up and it slowed the leak. What is the line for? It doesn't connect to any pressure switches. Would a plugged line cause excess pressure and hence the leak?

You must have a straight 30. 30B's had a 3-152 engine. 40B's had a 4-203 engine. Could the line be a power steering hose? Dave

That line is for oil to the rocker arms

Any idea what might cause it to leak? I tightened it and it slowed the leak some, would the line need replacing?
