MH 33 vs 101 Sr.

Can anyone share there thoughts on which tractor would give you the most power for pulling. 201 std. bore with cam ground ect. vs 226 flathead bored .060 over cam ground ect. Our rules are first gear only with 10% over rpms. Thanks.

I pull a 101sr and 101 super both are very hard to beat in a low gear class due to there fast first gear. The rearend lock up nice. I pull in 3750-4500. I have had luck with the flatheads others may disagree.

my vote would be for the 101 senior. Find a engine out of an oliver 40 combine and bolt it in, Its a "tuned up version", pulled a 101 sr for about 5 years, they work real good in the stock classes that are limited to first gear only.
