mid atlantic antique tractor super pull

I don't know if Brad Peters is going to post the results on some site or not. It was a fantastic pull with about 630 hooks, I was there till midafternoon and everything went very smooth and the pull was kept moving nicely. Everyone who participated in the track preparation starting at midnite the nite before and maintanance all day long keeping the track from getting valleys and humps did an excellent job, they had a real understanding of how to move the material back. Brian Lively was there to take pictures and I hope will do a article with pics in the Hook. It was very professionally done and I would personally like to condradulate Brad and his crew. mEl

yes, it was very well operated, If one thing could be changed, it would be a quieter horn on the red sled, it was the only bad thing all day. I think the group putting these pulls together has a good thing going, just look at the turnout, great job to all including the sled guys, they didnt have one problem all day.

Many, many thanks to all the people who made this work! Many staying up all night prior to the pull to get track and things setup and then staying all the pull and fianlly leaving after cleanup around 11:00pm!

We Started pulling with 2 sleds at 8:00am and finished at 10:00pm. We ended up with 617 total hooks for the day. Many had to drop out because of the time and travel time.

Man, we got to see and pull against alot of great looking and pulling tractors! We look forward to the next one!

IT WAS A GREAT DAY, THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO CAME TO THE PULL, WHAT A GREAT DAY FULL OF ACTION, NICE TO SEE ALOT OF OLD FRIENDS AND MEET MANY NEW ONES, HOPE EVERYONE COMES AGAIN. AND BRAD, IF YOU GET THE RESULTS AND IF ANYONE HAS PICTURES PLEASE EMAIL THEM TO ME AND I WILL PUT THEM UP ON HOOKED ON PULL'INS WEB. SITE. BUT AGAIN THANKS TO EVERYONE, AND A BIG THANKS TO BRAD FOR LETTING ME AND SOME OFF MY STAFF FROM HOOKED ON PULL"IN LLC TO BE PART OF A GREAT DAY

What a well organized event! The group of us from Western PA had a great time. Like the way your pulling line up works; pull has you come in the door and the sled hooker passes the number to the announcer. No waiting for anyone. Thanks from all of us. Art

As Brad Said Thanks To all that Helped us Out!

Wow, there was some awesome stuff there. My only complaint was maybe a quieter horn on "The red express" and maybe some way to deal with the exhaust fumes a little better. I know I got a headache and my eyes were watering. But wow, some awesome equipment went down that track

What a great crew all the way around - from the track prep to the registration runners to the guys directing traffic in the back hallways. Great improvements from the spring pull with the Keystone group - what a well oiled machine. Brad's a humble guy who spreads the credit around for this well - but without his vision for this thing it would have never happened. Congratulations on a job well done. Awesome to have a pull of this caliber this close to home.

Hey Art - Thanks for the heads up on the track changes there in the 6500. My son wasn't feeling well there for a while (think the fumes might have been getting to him), so we were outside for much of the early afternoon and I really wasn't paying attention to things as much as I wanted to. Doubt I'd have done as well in that class without your info. Nice seeing you again. Take care.

Mike

Brad and crew, you have my highest admiration from the begining of the day with drivers meeting, prayer and the beautiful job the three young ladies did on the "NATIONAL ANTHEM". One of the best times I have had at any pull. We will take the horn from the red sled (I don"t hear to good) and give them the whistle. Looking forword to next year. "Happy Thaanksgiving"

I second every positive thought shared here about the Mid Atlantic event, I cannot say enough good things about it. I want to thank everyone who stopped and said hello, picked up a magazine, a shirt, or a subscription. I indeed will have coverage in the next HOOK, along with the top 5 from each class. A special thanks to Brad and congrats to him and everyone there for such a well-run event for the first time out.

Sorry guys for the loud horn,!!! some of the old guys pulling have a hard time hearing the high pitch of the electric siren. We should have put a rag around the horns, my bad.!! thanks for a great day. Red Sled operator.

Brad the bunch of us from Central MD Antique Tractor Club had a great time and it's all over our FB pages.
I do have some videos of our guys pulling on my FB page. Hit me up if you want to see them. Hatton Brown Jr. is my name. I'll have to figure out how to post them here if any of you without FB would like to see.

I think the keystone pullers mini sled was perfect for the 3,000 to 5,500 pullers, plus the size of it allowed staging on the track while the track was being maintained, I just cant say enough good about how this pull was "pulled" off. If anyone knows where the results for all classes will be, please post it, thanks, Mike
