First off let me say that I'm a Ford tractor owner, currently with 5 Fords, have owned several Harry Fergusons and a few Deere's and some Farmalls too.. This evening at work a coworker asked me if I would be interested in his Dad's old tractor, he didn't know what it was or how much his Dad wanted for it, drove over after work it discovered it was a Minneapolis Moline BF. How it got way down here in South Alabama is a story I would love to hear some day, its the only MM tractor I have ever seen in my 55 years other than magazines or internet, it cranked up immediately , no smoke, 3 point hitch went up and down, couldn't drive it as all 4 tires were flat, will need tires as dry rot is too severe, needs carb rebuild, all sheet metal is good and straight. Any ideas what its worth, I offered $400 and the family said they needed to think about it a few days, they wanted a $1000 for it, I don't need it but would enjoy the task of bringing it back to its former glory, do ya'll think I low balled him?
