The 4210 heads were used on 403, 425, and 283 motors. They have a comp ratio of 9.1:1 on a 403. 4232 heads have a comp ratio of 10.2:1 on a 403. Hope this is what you were looking for.

To answer your question, yes, there is a better head. A 4232,would make close to 10 HP more. However, unless this is a devoted pulling tractor, I would run 4231s. You would still need some better gas. If you are on lp, with impco carburation, you could get away with 32s. Use a 670 lp intake and exhaust, adv the cam a tooth, and a stock 403 with 32s on lp should make 80-85 HP.

we got a stock 403 with 4210 heads making that hp. for the price of the 4232 heads i cant see where the little hp is worth the price of the 32 heads.

It's better to be conservative..I know what it should make, but I don't know how other people put their junk together.

10A4210 are propane heads for most later 403. Earlier propane 403 used 10A4209. The equivalent to a 10A4210 in a late (and much better) head would be a 10A4231. The square intake port series will yield better power due to the shallower wider combustion chamber.
