i just picked up a solid IH64 pull type and was wondering what kind of machines they were? the engine is stuck but no biggie. i just wanted a pull type to go with my 101 and 403. this way i have for each crop(corn, beans, and wheat). does any one know where a person could get manuals for one of these?
as always thanks and God bless

The model 64 was available with two different engine sizes. One was the Cub type engine and the other was a Super A engine. Mine has the Super A engine. Manuals are available from time to time on e-bay

We had one years ago. Good machine and it did an excellent job in oats. It had a scour clean on it so, the grain was real clean. I didn't have much capacity though. Dad had a Farmall M and he had to put a hand cluth on it becuae low gear was to fast once in a while. Later we pulled it with the Oliver 880 with a power booster. quite often we had to put it in low range while in 1st gear. When you see a couple spears of straw comming back over the top of the front beater, you better stop now. It's not fun unplugging one of those. Wish I still had it. One of the smoothest running combines that I've eve seen.
