I have a 1940 Model A. I am going to change the transmission oil and I have a couple of questions. My manual says to use 140 weight oil. Is it OK to use 85-140? Also my manual doesn"t tell me where to check the trans oil. I am assuming that it is the large plug on the right side, (non flywheel) at the very back of the tractor down from the power trol level plug. It is large and set at an angle. Thanks

Expect noticable gear noise when using 90W in these, it's the nature of the beast.
