i recently inherited a case tractor from my grandfather pasing away. it is a case make either a dc-3 or 4 . i was wondering if someone could help me to figure out which one and what year . we r wanting to restore it for family hay rake rides and parades any help is greatly appreciated.

If you can find the serial number plate, please post that. Check the picture galleries on the left for pictures of other tractors, and compare to yours. Can you post some picture here of your tractor?

the vin is 5324770dc . i dont have any pictures yet i just recently got it unbarried from the grass.

S/n 5324770 is the 1949 model year. I can't tell you the difference in DC models but someone on the Case board certainly can, DCTom is the king of the DC's over there and I mean that with much respect.
