Any tips on bleeding the injector pump and lines ater a rebuild on a G-6 Deisel? Got fuel up the top of the "rotor" but cant get the fuel to come out the top of the pump. This is an american bosch type injector. Been cranking and even pulled it for a couple hundered yards tying to get deisel to come out but to no avail.

You have to loosen the big nut in the center of the lines and bleed fuel out there. You can crank it forever and it will not run until you bleed it there.

Make sure the lines are loose at the injectors as well. I've also seen where the return lines had to be bled also. My UB Special did the same thing to me once, so we just loosened everything and pulled it about 20 feet and we had fuel everywhere.

How long has it been since the engine last ran? Could be the head seized and twisted off the plunger shaft. I presume it is a PSB type pump?
