Serious reply here. Really should have a Case IH board. A fair number of owners have no heritage with the company prior to 1985. They really don't want to wade through a lot of material dealing with JI Case or IH products or discussions. Lots of prime decision makers out there who were born at or after the year of the merger. It might help the image of YT with these people.

Notice how the new Boards were empty at first, then they "populated" them with posts about each brand that were originally posted on "Talk" or "Repair Tips", etc.?

Look at the dates of some of the posts on the newly-created Boards.

My guess is the moderators searched all the old posts for topics related to each brand and moved the relevant ones to the new board.

Beats me. That was the claim in the discussion about adding those brand-specific forums over in the Site Comments. At least one person there claimed it would "ruin our community." Never said why or how.
