Im writing this post because I seen a most stuck conversation on this site. I think we all would like to hear the stories. my story is when I was 16, I thought I could tackle the biggest mudholes in the field while disking and get out of them with no problem. I thought I was a trooper and unstopable until one time the ground was all of a sudden like quicksand. I was disking with a 21 foot white disk and a 2-135 white with 20.8x38 wheels full of fluid and duals. The tractor was in more than up to the belly, it was up to the firt step. we had a 4020 john deere with 18.4x34 wheels full of fluid and duals planting in the field. Took a couple of chains for a good distance from the mudhole and broke the chains after the 4020 was digging in to the hard soil. We got a heavier chain and the 4020 just dug a deep hole. Finally we pulled the hitchpin on the disk and relocated the 4020,,,the white came out. Used the heavy chain on the white to pull out the disk and the white was digging in hard trying to pull out the disk, but it finally came out. After that I decided that I wasnt going to challenge the mud anymore,,,especially after I got my rear end ripped off. Sorry for the 4020 John Deere in the story....I tried hard to get my uncle to buy an 1850 or 1855
