Mounting a #5 Deere mower to an N Ford

A couple of guys have asked about this.... here's the bar someone made up for a mower I have. It replaces the 3-point drawbar and gives a tubular bar for the mower's clamps to attach to.

Sean, the #5 is a sickle mower, designed with a "quick-tach" system that was originally designed to clamp to brackets bolted the the tractor's drawbar or drawbar mount. The adapter facilitates attaching it to a CAT 1 3-point hitch, such as on a Ford "N".

Below is an example of what Deere supplied for brakets to mount to a Deere "A" (of course, without 3-point).

Thanks. I thought maybe it was a finish mower. 3 Point sickle beats a belly mount any day.
