Darnit!

AGCO says my combine parts are all in and here I am, still jackin' around with this old motor trying to replace a dry bearing.

Whoooeeee! You think that old sow wasn't stuck?!! Only been on there 31 years. :>)

Allen. Sometimes I find that a good rap on the puller screw with a brass hammer does good also an impsct wrench jarring it somemtimes helps. Anti-sieze compund on the puller threads and end helps some too. Gene Davis (Ga.)

Hey Pard, At least your moving, with this ice on I can not even get to the shop to cuss at anything!Animal..........

I like to add a little heat on the bearing race just enough to get her hot enough that you can't touch it not to hot so as to ruin the bearing or shaft.
Then if all else fails a good cutting torch can make short work of it. Sometime you just have to get mad at them.

Allen, you better bite the bullet, and get that radiator fixed now or plan on fixin it out in the field in a time crunch. You know how things can bite you. Tom

I agree with you tom, ya aint much of a mechanic if you patch stuff, especially if you got the money. If you patch it, it aint restored.

I`m thinkin, if ya take yer time and build her back up good with some JB weld should work just fine. Then when you put it back on the shaft, goober a big old weld across the whole thing.
If it still doesn`t work out, can`t you blame someone else and try and expect some sort of warranty out of somebody???
