This is NOT a tractor I plan on purchasing but I'm just curious of folks opinions on this one. I live in Northwest Florida and there's a feller on Facebook listing a JD MT with the classic "ran great when parked". Looks like most of its there but he's asking $1750 for a machine that's been sitting out in the weather for who knows how long. Can't tell if there's something over the exhaust but regardless with the hurricanes we get it wouldn't surprise me if the thing's been flooded before. I know I personally wouldn't pay more than $500 for it just because of the risk factor. What would you guys offer? I know a lot of your A/B/etc tractors with the horizontal pistons are selling for dirt cheap now, but wasn't sure how the M's and MT's are selling. Just curious on folks opinions. Looks like the guy has had it listed for 6 weeks now...

I bought one ten years ago when prices were higher than now for $1800. Ran great decent rubber wheel weights and good sheet metal. His price
seems a little high to me

I bought a good running repainted MT years ago with a No. 5 sickle bar mower and a 2 bottom land plow for $2,500. I don't know I
would give $1,000 for that one.
