Went to our local Agland JD dealer in Northeast Alberta for an o'ring that should cost $1.50 but turned out to be over ten dollars. But they did not stock it. Was told that they could order but it only comes in packs of 5 and I would have to take all five. What gives? I used to be a partsman way back and never heard of that policy and would have never put my customer in this situation. Is this a policy that Deere puts on to their dealers or is it the dealerships's policy put on their customers? Was also told that any item not stocked comes under this policy. Are we the ones that have to stock our own parts now? How are things in other parts of North America.
