naa tractor jack (ford accy)

Hello all, First time naa owner...yeaa! I saw a pic on smiths old tractors site that showed a tractor jack that uses the lift arms to lift the entire tractor. It is made of tubing mostly. I would like to make one but of course I need to get the dimensions. Any help is appreciated. Alfred

I too gave a lot of thought to making one of those contraptions. After some serious debating with myself, I decided it was too much effort, materials, and time to invest in a contraption that would only be used on rare occasions. The gadget freak in me still thinks it's a neat gizmo though. My email is open if you want pics and drawings

Good job and many thanks for the help Bill. I can't take credit for them though, they were sent to me back in '06 by one of the members of this forum. I just wish I could remember who it was so credit could be given to the right person.

That is an ingenious design, but a bit dangerous if you happen to bump the control handle for the 3 point while the back wheel is off the tractor, or if your hydraulics decide to leak down while you're waiting for the wheel and tire to come back from the repair shop.
