Mornin all, Bought tractor in sept. mowed, dragged some dirt around etc. nice quiet pump. Now that it is cold 24F yesterday, pump sounds whinny like a car with low fluid in the ps pump. Worked it for 2-3 hrs did not change. Fluid Full not milky, looks clean, works fine. Should I think about a piston pump? and if so what is involved in the switch? OR should I change the fluid and see what happens? Apppreciate your input...Al

Merry Christmas :D

I've got an NAA with an updated piston pump and external lines. I thought the NAA external lines that bolt up to the pump were original stock lines. However, I could be wrong about that.

Thanks 36. So the noise is normal with colder oil? I always looked at noise as = trouble but I can learn to ignore it I guess. Just turn up the radio
I would still like to know whats involved in installing a piston pump on there for in the future. Danke!

Al
