NATPA rule question..

Whats it mean when the rules say STOCK HEAD GASKET?
How much leeway do the board members have on their "interpretation" of this rule?

Has anyone ever used a "non-stock" head gasket? Why would you do that if it's not legal, and can I pull against you and have you disqualified if I can PROVE your head gasket is not STOCK?

What is the OFFICIAL definition of a "stock head gasket" anyway?

Anything that hasn't been seen before MUST be illegal. Ask an official. I can gaurentee, if you build it, "they" will come. County Line Club in Barry County told Dad he was running HD800 blocks. I guess next time, we'll leave them rusty.

Boys it taken you this long to realize the problem .I knew the natpa had problems in 2000 when i read electronic ignitions were ok but no boxes.

OK let me ask in a different way . which one of those manufacturers did allis use at the factory that made it a stock gasket over the other brand or was neither brand used at allis factory making niether one stock or o e m .

I don't know about the head gasket. but i did see a moline dq'd for using 2 block to crankcase gaskets. this was after he took the lead in the class i think. what are those gaskets, .050 thick? im sure that made a 50 hp difference, yeah right.
