Need help in finding a G159 engine block

No. I did not ask them. Initially when I did the research, it appeared that the parts were available. When I went to place the order, the sales rep at Yesterday's Tractor and other online places could not get the .010 bearing.

Over this weekend, the engine rebuild kit came in and this morning a took it to the machine shop. I told them about the main bearings, and he said he will contact their suppliers. He called me back a couple of hours later stating that he located the last .02 set in the entire US. I did not ask him if they were aftermarket or OEM. I was so glad that he found a set, it slipped my mind.

I hope we do not need any more parts. Most of the hydraulic hoses need replacing which I have to tackle after the engine.
Is there anything else that are common problems with the W-3 backhoe? Transmission ...etc.

Another question on this. The hydraulic rams have 4 rods that hold the ends together. I am sure some of them will leak. Are there any rebuild kits available?

Thank you for the info. It is really helpful to see how things fit together. Would you be able to send me the torque spec on the mains. I like to compare it with what I have in my book.

Thanks,

I'd start with a call to a case dealer and/or eBay for some new old stock.

Pre-packaged kits are generally more expensive than if you went to Baum and got the individual parts.
