Need help with jubilee

I have a 12 volt system, The wire that connects the coil post to the post on the distributor (points)
Can I measure voltage on this wire when turning over the tractor and if so what should it be

Tighten (closed) and then back out some number of turns?

On our Marvel Shiver carb, the main needle has to be removed prior to separation of the two halves.

I generally use 1 1/2 turns out to start with.

Success, day before Father’s Day drove it out of the hole it was in and down onto my driveway
Not without incident lol
It has a factory ford front snowplow
That the hydraulics are having a hard time with

For starters, does anyone know if the control for the front hydraulics is 100 independent of the 3 point hitch controls?
can they be used at the same time


I have a grader blade on the back that’s been chained in the up position
And I haven’t determined if that’s working or not
Need a little insight
Front cylinder is leaking and might be bypassing or maybe problem is more complex under the rear cover
later today I might try taking the pin out of the front piston to see if it moves with no weight/load

As per your question on the hyds for the snow plow hard to say since it could be using the factory hyds or it could have it's own crank or PTO driven pump.

Supply,return and valve are mounted atop
3 point hitch hyd unit (what people call the cover) as shown in pic
