Need mechanic

Does anyone know of someone who works on tractors in the Greensboro/Reidsville/Burlington, NC area? I need a new lower fan pulley put on. I"d like to do it myself but I don"t think I have the strength or tools to take off the front end.

My email is [email protected]

Up here in SE PA, I play with being a refrigeration engineer. Most of the customers are the LARGER FAMILY OWNED Orchard, fruit growers.

However, rite now the SEASON, here, is about over.

My TRACTOR services are avail. from late NOV. to APRIL.

I have own tools. Generally I work for only "room and board". Former ranch hand at family owned farm, AIRPORT.

FOOD, WARMTH, and conversation, that is FRIENDLY.

What else is there? Fix'N the tractor is simply a "piece of cake", as long as I can get in touch with YOU and ZANE.

John........lonely ole mech. This WI NTER is supposed to be a "WINTER like none others.". I gots to check the "wolley bear" caterpillars.

I have seen two wooly bears this year with NO black. All brown.

I am not sure that this bodes well for winter.

Up hereabouts, we usually keep looking for those ORANGE type of color'N. NO BLACK means that we will have sorta MILD WINTER. A few black stripes means, a little snow. Not enough to worry about putting on the snow plow and chains.

I will have to relay this info. to NOAA, Colorado.

Hobo sent me an email regarding your search for a mechanic. I do not know of one in your immediate area, but consider calling Bill Knight at 336-643-3410. He is located northeast of Stokesdale in Rockingham County off US 158. He owns a farm supply store, deals with lots of farmers, and may know someone that can help you. Good luck tractor gal :!:

Thanks again, everyone who has contributed to helping me with these repairs.

John, thanks for the offer to work for room and board. While it's a great offer, it just won't work within this scenerio.

It's wonderful to have a board like this where people are so willing to help. Thanks again.
