I'am looking at MM tractor and it has no tag, the motor does it says 283.The owner says he thinks its a UB,does anyone have a pic of one or a place I could go to see one on the internet? Thanks Keith

Look at pics in left column under tractor photos or more at minneapolis-moline.com All U series had the 283 except a U302 that had the 221.

Thanks 335LP, I found a photo in photo ads. This UB is LP and has wide front end(swarts?) rear tires aren't much has 3 pt.(shop made)valves on gas tank leak,has good powersterring,runs good,sheet metal is ok. I live in Ark. do you no what one like this would sell for?Thanks Keith

Schwartz did make an aftermarket wide front for UBs but M-M built UBU, UBE, and UBN versions also. The power steering is it a CharLynn or Behlen built add on? My 54 I gave about $1000 for about 12 years ago and I had to work on the starter immeadiately. Does the three point use a M-M cylinder, mounted on the right side, to function? I think a lot of them were dealer add on.
