I just picked up 2 Farmall Cubs this weekend. Can someone tell me where to find the serial numbers on them . I dont see the plate for them anywhere so are they stamped on the block or somewhere?
Thanks

Where I bought these they had more attachments for them. They had cultivators and planters attachment but I was not sure what all went with what . They were scattered around in the barn and hanging on the wall . Does the manuals list parts and would I be able to sort them all out ? I am thinking about calling them and going back and buying the rest . Thank you in advance . They also had a buzz saw and another belly mower but it was locked up . The rest of the attachments he was keeping to use with the cub he was keeping .

Follow the steering shaft forward to the steering gear. The serial number plate should be right there on the front bolster. There is a stamped engine number on a flat boss near the carburetor. It is not the same as the serial number. No, your engine number is not 251341R7. Unless they are the product of mix-and-match part collections, the one on the left was probably built between '47 and '49. The one on the right '54 and '57.

Number locations are illustrated here. This link isn't allowed so you need to copy/paste and do a little editing:
