New Farmall 130

Found this on Facebook marketplace, about 35 miles away. It was under a lean to when the barn burnt down. Folks live so far out that by the time the volunteer fire department arrived the fire was almost out 😔. Tractor was being used last summer. We took four tires on rims and got it rolling. With all the mounted tires around here ,I picked one that wouldn't hold air more than 15 minutes. It rolls, steers and shifts into all the gears easily. Motor oil is liquid, coolant still in radiator. Wire coatings melted off but copper wires didn't melt. None of the springs were sprung. I think it will live again. We will sell the cultivators , fast hitch and wheel weights. Good day in Alabama. Except for the heat and humidity 🥵🥵

Score 1 for grandpa and grandma! Great tractor. We had one in potato operation. Always thought it steered better than the super a’s and 140 we had.

I've got a 100 and not much difference from the 130 except the 130 had a nicer paint job. Those tractors are a real nice upgrade from the A/Super A tractors.

We have a Farmall A that was in a fire. All 4 tires were melted. Surprising enough it still turned over. We rewired it and different mag. It came with mid and rear cultivators which someone rigged up a hydraulic lift for. 4 new tires and a few new rims. Bodywork and paint. Looks good and runs good although you can hear a valve puff when running. We have a Cyclone seeder mounted on the back. Was a good save ! You’re doing the same !

That will be a good tractor to resurrect. I don't know why, but Grayson's 130 has more power hands down than the rest of the 1 row fleet here, and I know for a fact that grandaddy's 100 was completely overhauled with minimal use before going 2 row in the tobacco. Yall stay safe with the heatwave we're experiencing. Sure is cooking here.
