New Idea 311 corn picker

I just bought a New Idea 311 (I think...the shed was dark) corn picker today. It is a 2-row wide picker. Approximately what years were these pickers built? Mike

I have a NI 300 that is a wide row 2 row picker. Was thinking the 311 was something different - is yours a mounted??? Mine's pull type.

311 was between the 300 and 324, so it's early to mid 60s.

300 was similar to the 6A, the 311 looks alot like a 324 with obvious visual differences

Serial number P208 was 1962...P219 was 1963....P227 was 1963....P236 was 1964.....P247 was 1964....

The 311 had kind of a hood so that the oval emblem was horizontal instead of just being fastened to the angled top of the sheet metal didn't it?
