Does anyone have any comments about the firestone radial all traction 23 degree tires? I am planning on buying a new pair. Any other recommendations?

After spending 20+ years in the farm tire business I would recomend Firestone radials over anything else. We sold almost every brand of farm tire there was except trelleborg and personal experience kept bringing us back to Firestone.

They are the only tires I buy when buying new trires. Very pleased with them so far. One tractor has had them on at least 12 years, and they are still in very nice shape.

Been good tires for us too. Much better than Goodyear radials that sold out to Titan now and had troubles with 3 sets of Goodyears cracking inside and out.

Good tires. Not a mud tire, but good pulling, good wearing, good riding tire. I go with either the 23 degrees or Michelin AgriBib; whichever is cheaper generall, but I do lean more towards the Bibs if there's only a few bucks in the difference. They have a much deeper tread which is beneficial to me, and they do ride better than the 23 degree's...

I agree with tom below. One of the best if it meets your application. Just don't put fluid it them.

Why do you say not to put fluid in them?

I may be wrong on this but I think it has to do with radial tires advantage being that it (for lack of better word) flexes to get traction and filling them with fluid makes them too stiff to flex.

Exactly. Once you add fluid you have an expensive bias tire. Also the tire pressure is determined by the weight on the axle so by adding fluid you can't run low pressure. I just see in happening far too much. Buy a nice radial tire and add fluid.
