Don't want to poke too much fun at these guys. They have and are doing an awesome job.
Nice to add a little humor to the game.
Go Cowboys.

You forgot a dial type tire pressure gauge. Remember last year when a team should have been tossed from the season?

I thought the referees stole the game from the Steelers. Near the end of the game the Steeler crossed the goal line with the ball and the referees said TOUCHDOWN. However the ball carrier fumbled the ball when he hit the ground. I thought the ground can't cause a fumble. It took a few minutes for the referees to decide, maybe there was a bribe involved?

How in the heck could a ref actually know where the ball was at the bottom of that pile. Was a guess where he set it down so probably why he gave it to them.

gtractorfan, I don't recall that one being a close call.

The Steeler was trying to reach it out across the line, but he got hit hard about the 2, then lost the ball in mid fall around the 1. It went into the end zone, causing a touch back, change of possession.

The 4th down conversion was the questionable call. How can there ever be a good decision when one referee kept reaching down moving the ball? I don't think the Cowboys made it, but impossible to ever know.

What I don't like are the pass interference calls. Boys got a 55 yard penalty on one of those! I still don't know what gets that called...

Never will figure it out. Guy gets tackled ,4-5 people piled up. Ref digs ball out. Throw it to another official who tosses it to a guy who puts it exactly in the right spot. Then holds the ball down while they drag the chains out to measure. Uggggggggggghgh. Thank goodness I hardly watch football!!!! Couple times a year is enough

I can't imagine how hard it is to be a ref. They see the game at full speed from one angle and have to be looking at the exact spot to make the call. We see it in slow motion from multiple angles while ignoring everything else going on during the play. For sure some calls are just the best guess but still amazes me how often they get it right.

It wasn't he fumbled the ball but didn't complete the catch so it was an incomplete catch by rule. I'm not saying the rule was written right but the call according to the rule was correct. As far as the Cowboys first down by paper, when watch the reply of the paper sliding past the ball you would think that it was not a first down. If the hit the the ball and didn't slide past then a first down. I do like the bottle of asprin it the pic with the tools
