around here every single pull nitrous is illegal. on top of that its a good way to blow up a motor. just ask drag racers.

We have some pulls in our area that have no rules. I built a little setup and ran it on my Allis WC engine, but I put the bottle right on the outside of the frame, there was no hideing anything.

I would not use verry much on a low speed or governed RPM engine. NOS does not care what speed the engine is running, so if it's got a lot of time to take a breath, it's got a lot of time to take a lot of NOS. So if you're running 2000 RPM you can't use much.

My engine ran well between 3000-6000 RPM and I would use it above 4000 RPM but when the engine starts to come down, it's time for the NOS to turn off. I've got really strong pistons and rods, my main berring assembly is tied togather, cross bolted and made of all billet caps and girdle setup. The engine is built really strong. I've got a large engine I also have for the governed speed classes around here, or Div 3 and 4 type stuff and that one will never see any bottle, it would just come apart.

I would advise you to call a company like Nitrous Express and have them help you. Nitrous is cheap horsepower and very reliable if you use it right.
