well tomorow i will check the oil filter for bearing material and drop the pan and see if anything is lose.... if not... it is going on the plow...if anybody is interested i will let you know what happened.

I sure wouldn't run that thing till I knew for sure where that noise was coming from. A short time on the plow and you'll be picking up pieces.

If someone else built the engine, get them involved. If you were the 'buck stops here' guy, you really need to assure yourself it is worth the risk. (flywheel bolts??? make rod sounds) Jim
