Wonder if anyone can identify this part?
it has been in the same barn since at least the 70s and I have picked it up and looked at it several times wondering..
the barn also has a JD M in it from 1947. I a not sure if this could have gone with the JD, one of its implements, or a snow cone maker?
I am now keeping it in my truck and asking folks around town if they know...
its about 15 inches long, has a 5 in the casting, and a hole for a set screw. I assume it would have a rod or tube go through it and be uses to twist or turn it?
