this is a warning to all that has young kids in the family my wife gave our 3 y/o daughter some of kelloggs wild animal crunch cereal this morning and the daughter bit down on a piece of glass she is ok but it could have been real bad dont know if this is an isolated incident or not my wife is trying to get ahold of kelloggs

DON'T mail the glass piece back to Kelloggs- send a picture instead. If you send the actual glass piece, you've just lost your evidence, and any hope of winning your case (if you have one).

Having worked in food factorys it amazes me how good a job they do considering the speed everything is running . Don't act greedy or nuts with them and I belive they will treat you right in this matter .I have had good luck in the past with different food companys ,remember as much products as the handle every day something is bound to slip by .Drop that same piece of glass in a 50,000 bushel bin and lets see if you can find it during the unloading .

It seems to me much more likely that the contamination happened in your home than at the plant. Broken any glasses lately? Rocks and sand are more likely to be in grain than glass, but in 50 years of eating breakfast cereal I've never encountered any foreign objects.

A few years back I bought a bagle w/cream cheese at a bagel joint. I took one bite and CRUNCH!. There was a big piece of glass or plastic in the cream cheese. No harm done, but the manager was very embarassed. She pulled that cream cheese off the shelf in a hurry.
