The best one can do is to honor their spirit by being solidly in line with the best each had/has provided as an example in their lives. Being as good as several others is a great way to be very positive. Peace be with you. JimN

Very sorry to hear of all of your troubles--just not fair.
I said a prayer for you and your family.

Very sorry to hear of your troubles. Prayers are with you and yours.
To me thats not a rant but something that must be talked about to work ones way thru.

Sorry to hear the news. I feel whats going on in your life as well. We will be holding the memorial service for my wife of 27 years who passed away this least Sunday. Only he Lord knows the great plan.

Did your wife check with City of Hope in California? There is a procedure called TBI (total body iradiation) that is done on a TomoTherapy machine to treat bone cancer. That might be the ticket. Not all doctors are up on their stuff oddly enough. What type of cancer does your son have?

Words cannot tell you how sorry I am for the hard times you are going through.I hope you find peace and that this message finds you and finds you well.Take care. ~brad

Not going to pretend that I know how all that feels but I can say my heart goes out to you and yours. Will send up a prayer for yall. Had a friend up the road that had a spell about like that about ten years ago. In a years time he lost his wife, a daughter, grand doughter, then his life all to differnt forms of cancer. I think about him alot when it seems my life is not going well. I hope the best for you and yours.

God Bless,

Dave

I'm so sorry to hear.

Fall of '99 mom had cancer/ heart surgery/ passed away.

Fall of '02 dad got very sick.

Fall of '03 dad passed away.

Fall of '06 my sis got cancer.

Fall of '07 it came back again.

I won't say I know how you feel. You have more.... But I wish you & yours well, and try to keep your spirits up.

I wish I could have a good harvest - my crops seem to stay out in the fields, too many other things to deal with. And so on. It's those unthought of 'unimportant' things that can get a person down. Along with all the big stuff.

You come back & vent some more.

--->Paul

Ken, I will not say I know how you feel , for I do Not! But I, just like most of the others have our share of hard knocks! BUT.....
It is NOW More than ever, go to that place at home, barn, down by the stream, "That Quiet Place" Tell the LORD about it, Cry out for help!, Yes The LORD has thick enough skin to let you be mad for a while. BUT...Do Not Let This Stay Bottled Up Inside Yourself, It will eat you up from the inside! And take away your Joy of Life. Give it over to him, Listen for his reply to you. HE will make some thing good from this situation.
Yes, go open your Bible and read, search out those scriptures that have given you comfort in the past, they will help you now, go visit with your Pastor, or other Godly Counsel. ask for prayers from others whom you feel close to, and are comfortable visiting with.
Hope this helps, I will be praying for you!
Later,
John A.

Im gonna pray that GOD sends yall a miracle. Remember you got to have faith that god is working behind the scenes and believe god is in control and is goin to pull yall through. Its hard to do sometimes I know it seems like its hopeless but trust in god with all you got. And railhead hit it on the nail I think. Im not tryin to pry it into you but it has help me through some rough times and brother I feel for ya. I lost 5 people in my family the past two years. I feel lost without them, but I know its part of gods plan. I beleive there is a reason we all go through hard times, even tho we why that is. God Bless and yall are in my prayers. And thats not a rant.

paul- your last line was right on...........come back to vent..........we all need that opportunity when we are troubled. Whether we do it here, on the net, or sharing a hug with our neighbors at church, etc, And sometimes, no words need to be said...........just holding a friend- says everything.

Sorry to hear of your misfortune & I hope and pray for some good some how out of it all.
While it's little comfort and all I can think of. Perhapes getting the grieving done in one batch might be better than three separate occasions???
Us middle aged geezers are in the age and stage we should have been getting medical checks earlier. There are numerous problems we could avoid with only a little effort.

Ditto on everything everyone has said. A lot of us have had some sort of personal trajedy in our lives, and we don't know how you feel personally, but you are on the right track venting to us. Just plain talking about something, no matter what it is, does help relieve the frustration and pain for a little while. God bless you and your family and I wish you the best for the future. Jim

Same here. Sometimes it just all piles up. When I look at where some people are though and the course of events that got them where they are now,it's just amazing where unfortunate events can take you. Not always bad in the end. Maybe just a new beginning for you. You might be amazed where you are in 10 years.
