Offset keys

Summit and Jegs sell some but for tractors the may be too small. several engine builders grind them as the need them.

Let me update this post: I need a 6 degree offset key for the cam. this is for a c 169 farmall in a 300 u. the key is .25" thick.
Thank you...

Bosch has some common sizes in stock. They are meant for pump timing on a diesel, but sometimes they fit a tractor cam.

Other than that buy a thicker key than what you need from McMaster Carr and then have it milled to your specs. Trigonometry formulas can be found all over the web.

Good Luck!

I only had 2 left. One was .005 and the other was .003. I don't think either will help. The .005 will only get 1 degree.

looking for several off set keys for my minne U, measures 5/16 X 1-1/8th any suggestions?
I would just make one from a wider one. But first tighten the gear onto the cam and measure to know how much ofset you need. Surely your local speed shop has some offset keys.

Or maybe need to time it a tooth fast and use a offset key to slow it down. Or vise versa.
