I changed my older tractors over to spin on. I just went to the dealer and asked them if there is a spin on filter attachment that replaces the old canister. Write all the numbers down you can find on the tractor and motor and take them with you.
 
Grant, not wanting to run you off but you"ll probably have better luck on the JD board. Towards the top of the page on the right side is a pull down menu, can select one of many different boards. Good Luck!
