these are pictures I have shown on here before,but you know me and pictures,,,,you did ask sooo,,,, here is the old farmhouse in PA soon after my dad bought it around 1966

my mom was taking the picture,she is no longer with us ,the far right is me,, my neighbors grandfather,he is gone too ,next to him is my cousin and brother,they are still fine,the back row from left to right,,,my moms twin sister,no longer with us,then there is my neighbors grandma,,,thats the lady I post pictures of holding the big turnip smiling,and she was riding her lawnmower last summer,she is still teaching me gardening tricks,and I just orderd more turnip seed so I can plant another patch for her this season! Next to her is my dad and then my uncle .who are both no longer with us, The neighbor I always talk about on her was not even born yet,

heres the house years later after my dad and I Bricked the front of it,it was one of the last jobs I did with my dad before he passed away.He was not well when we did it,he picked out the bricks he wanted and was very involved,but a friend and I did the job

The very last project my dad wanted to restore the old root cellar at the farm,I started under his supervision,but he never got to see it finished,,,I Finished it after he passed away,I wish I could have gotten it done sooner.

here she is last summer,the only adult left from that first 1966 picture ,,,my second mom!

Larry be glad you have pictures of the people from times gone by. My family rarely took any pictures. Always said they cost too much. LOL

I only have one picture of my Maternal Grand Parents and none of my Great Grand Parents on either side.

I also would love to have some of the pictures form years gone by of the farm but there are few of those too. I would really like to see where some of the original out building where at.

The house I live in now way back when. I don't even know when the picture was taken. I'd guess more than 100 years ago.

This first photo is my place about 1967. We got photo from a company selling old aerial photos. 2nd was taken about 2006 not much change since then. Cedar trees in front are gone due to bad wind and the side porch has been replaced.

Farm I was born on, but moved right away because Dad went into WWII. last photos of our farm from 1945-2007. Left there is 1962, Farmed it 2000-2007 sold 2007.

My paternal grandmother had all the pictures from that side of the family. She stored them in boxes in a closet in the utility room (one of those little rooms tacked onto the back of the house as an afterthought)- roof leaked, probably for years, and they were all destroyed.

My sister got a very nice album of photos, looks like late 1800's to 1920 or so from the clothing styles. About 90% of them are unidentified. Looks like someone (probably my mother) tried to go through them with grandma, because there are several ? in the margins. My mother died unexpectedly at a comparatively young age (68), and nobody had sat down with her and gone over family history on her side, so now we're pretty clueless.

This the farm that we were raised on. my 77 is at the right end of the barn. the picture was taken 1955. The second last year at our plow day with myself and brothers Bob & Dave. Chuck

The farm where I grew up as it looked in 1900 and as it looks today. Same house and barn, although the house has been enlarged and extensively remodeled several times.
