Saw this 'ol gal in the weeds so I stopped and took some pics. Looks like it's been rode hard and put up wet by the looks of the patch on the unload auger. what model of McCormick is it?

Thanks for the pictures....Its a 123 McCormick built from 1942-1948...The 123's were the only ones with a tricycle rear as the 125's that followed had a wider rear axle..

The grain bin has been lowered and a 125 unloading auger has been added..This was quite common..They still left the very tall 123 clean grain elevator..

Does it still have the dual drive wheels? What state is it in? I'll add it to my list of (20) known 123's still left in existence..One of these is in England and several are parts only..If anyone else knows of a 123 please let me know...Pictures are always appreciated...Thanks..

Years ago a article in Redpower Magazine stated that there are (3) known 123's in sheds in SW Kansas...I have never been able to confirm these.

Yes it does have dual wheels. It's in a pasture on a county road right off US 87 about 25 miles or so east of San Angelo, Tx.
I go by it quite often and hoped to see the landowner to get permission to get better pics and history of the combine but so far I haven't seen anybody.
One of these days soon I want to take some pics of it with my good camera instead the phone cam.

there was one on a farm by me that we farmed some years ago, tri cycle steering dual wheels, has sat there for at least 50 years, I can probly get you the name of the family if you like I have not been on the place since 1999 so am not positive its still there,, tell you what I will goggle map it and see will let you know cnt

A beautifully restored 123 at John Kinzes museum near the Kinzes factory on I80 east of Des Moines. Also one sitting in southern Sask, stored outside for 35 years but complete. I would also like to thank 1206 for the McCormick combine pictures yesterday, my dad had a IHC # 22 new then a # 122 C, before switching to JD.

I was at Golden Harvest Days 3 or 4 years ago and they had a 125 McCormick out cutting wheat but didnt see a 123 around at that time..

If you get a chance grab a picture of that 123 by Olathe,CO..Thanks..

There is a McCormick 123 Rice Special in Crowley,La. It sits under an open shed and the Louisiana weather is beginning to rust in some places. Just thought you might want to put this one on your list.
