I tried to post these pictures on Case forum , but they would not download. I'll try here. Would like to know year and model.?---- Will not upload here either ,,, maybe tomorrow..
Well I located my manual and you are right, yours could be a 900 as I see they show the yellow (or light colored) seed box in the photo. 915 refers to the fact that it cuts 15 feet. Mine would be a 912 as it is a 12 foot. I am still pretty sure there was a newer 1000 model but I will have to check my brochures to prove it. I have a photo of my 12 footer hitched to the 730 Case back in 1974 somewhere.(quoted from post at 14:21:27 01/25/14) I was thinking mine was a "900" series, by this piece of lit mine would be a "915", mine has several independent spring loaded gangs of discs and two bars that go to the front wheel, I have not heard of a model "1000" do you know how I can tell the two apart?
Have you tried your disker in the field yet to see how it tracks? It is not too complicated to set them , mostly trial and error til all the wheels run the same direction. I guess you know you need to run a swinging drawbar on the tractor when pulling one of these. I'll try to get that scan done later today. Can't take a picture of my 900 as it half buried in snow at this point and at -30 below I am not inspired to dig it out.(quoted from post at 12:33:03 01/26/14) I see yours is a bit different like you say in several places, what I was looking for in the book was how to set the hitch correctly from road transport to field position as well as proper hitch settings, as for the seed tubes these I would say always have been rubber, I have Case drills with both styles and the part where the tubes hook I am pretty sure are different from the steel ones to the rubber style, any help on hitch setting would be great if you can thank you again

Here is a scan showing the 900 hitch and front wheel steering linkage. I am guessing it will be different from yours but still give you some idea of what you need to build. If you need a larger image I can send it to you off forum to your e mail.(quoted from post at 08:43:22 01/27/14) no I have not tried it yet as I am missing one steering link, I have the specs for it to build and am hoping to use it this year if I can get the second box feeds loose (the PO left it with seed in it) I have not seen it in field mode yet and just wanted to make sure all is correct, I have used a JD oneway before many times as we had one for years so I know how they work but just like to have a book to make sure I have everything set correctly thanks again
